We are a bit hidden with the major highway construction, but inside we are NORMAL. If you miss the driveway, turn at the Dunkin Donuts and loop around to the back driveway and drive up along the cemetery cinderblock wall into our parking lot.
Welcome to Universal Ballroom Dance Center, the place where the BEST dancers meet, and beginners get a GREAT start. We are also the school where ballroom dance teachers learn to teach.
Our school has been operating for 40 years. Over the years we have turned out thousands of social dancers, hundreds of quality competitors, scores of successful dance teachers, dance performers, dance choreographers, dance studio owners.

We teach social dancing for nightclubs and ballrooms. We teach international and American styles for social, hobby and competitive dancing. We have a teacher training program, a junior and youth program, and adult medal programs.
We have graded group classes and private lessons in all styles. Wedding First Dance choreography is a specialty of ours. People with physical disabilities can learn the social dancing curriculum we invented and published, and they can learn a special dance for their wedding First Dance.
Our newest projects include Teacher Training for Youth, Wheelchair Dancing (revived), 10 Week Course for 4th and 5th graders at Sacred Heart in Camden.

Universal BALLROOM Dance Center has three ballrooms/studios. Each is fully mirrored and equipped with excellent sound equipment.
Pictured immediately to the left is the Main Ballroom which dancers enter from the front door foyer. Pictured bottom left is the Silver Studio. Pictured below is the Wedding Room. You can rent floor space by the 45 minute session for personal or group rehearsals. We can customize a Special Birthday Party built around dancing or/and a dance lesson for your group.
